Question by ScoobyDoo: How do u know if ur bartending school is teaching the correct recipe,in cocktail books each recipes different?
Recipes are different in every cocktail recipe book too, so what gives bartening schools the correct recipe? Should u ask the manager of the bar the school places u with if they want the drinks made that way durring the interview or will they get mad at you for asking dumb questions? It’s not a dumb question but…

Answer by Roni F If the school places you with a bartending job, more than likely you will use the recipes taught by the school. The school teaches you the “proper” way for “proper” places. If you are tending at a dance club then you probably didn’t get placed there by the school.
